Highlight Parts of a Line Chart

Check out my Blog: http://bit.ly/2PGzLOL You create a line chart and want to mark some areas of significance. Maybe the line chart showed sales and there are some area where there was a market downturn so it could help explain why the sales were impacted in those months. You may have seen this type of chart where it tracks the Dow Jones Average and there is somewhat of a shaded area that shows the months where there was a recession. This chart is not exactly like that but it is similar. And it's easy to create, so check out the video to learn how. P.S. Feel free to provide a comment or share it with a friend! #exceltips #exceltipsandtricks #exceltutorial #doughexcel #excel101 --------------------- Excel Training: http://bit.ly/2vtLaYS Excel Books: https://amzn.to/2PHj3yC

Perform a Lookup with Power Query

This video show how to use Power Query to perform lookups. For small data sets you are better off with Excel's other lookup function, but if you are dealing with large data sets (over half a million) you may be better off using Power Query.  This method also would make it easier if you do this on a recurring basis (daily, weekly, etc) and didn't/couldn't write macros.
