Perform a Lookup with Power Query

This video show how to use Power Query to perform lookups. For small data sets you are better off with Excel's other lookup function, but if you are dealing with large data sets (over half a million) you may be better off using Power Query.  This method also would make it easier if you do this on a recurring basis (daily, weekly, etc) and didn't/couldn't write macros.

Use the DSUM Function

Excel has a bunch of these "Database" function; usually it starts with the letter "D".  It basically allows you to perform some kinds of calculation or manipulate data from a table of data for some defined output.  In this video I'll show you how to use one of those database function: DSUM.  See the video to learn more on how to use the Microsoft Excel DSUM function.
