Pivot Tables are one of the best analytical tools in Excel. BUT like any other tables in Excel, you can get lost in the numbers and letters, when there’s a lot. Create a Custom Sort in Excel and Power Query
You can create a custom list to sort if you don't want to use the ascending (A-Z) or descending (Z-A) sort. If you want to sort North-South-East-West in this order instead of alphabetically (i.e., East-North-South-West), a creating a custom sort will be your solution. Get Age or Years in Service with Power Query
Trying to figure out the age of a person based on their birthdate. Or you want to know how long someone has worked at your company or organizations. If it one to three people you're calculating this for, it's easy to manually do it. But it there is a long list of names on a spreadsheet and you've got to maintain it on a long term basis, there should be a more automated way to do this.
