How to Show Formulas in Excel

This short video shows how to display formulas in the all the cells of a worksheet.  By default when you put a function or formula in a cell and it calculate (hopefully without error), you will see the eventual output.  However in some cases you may want to view all the formulas or functions in your worksheet.  This video shows two ways it can be done.

Get a List of Filenames from Windows Directory into Excel

This video shows how to copy file names from windows explorer to Excel for further modification. You would think it would be as easy as performing a copy and paste with mouse clicks, but it doesn't work that way.  There is a workaround by using the command prompt and redirecting the output to a text file.

Sum Positive and Negative Numbers with the SIGN (and SUMIF) Function

If you get a file with positive number, performing calculations is not hard, but if the values are mixed with positive and negative numbers it might be a problem depending on how they're arranged. This video show how to sum up positive and negative numbers with the SIGN and SUMIF functions.
