If you use Excel as a pseudo address book or just have a table is storing addresses a common field is zip code or some kind of postal code.  Often there is some kind of format associated with it like a five digit format or it needs to be separated by a dash.  You’d want to just enter the digits or characters in without worrying about the formatting.  Excel offers various ways to do this and one of the ways is to format the cell (or range of cells) to default to some kind of format of your choice.  It makes it so much easier to just enter in the values and let Excel to it’s magical formatting.  See how this could be done with the video.
